Benefits of Cherimoya (Custard Apple)




Cherimoya (Anona cherimula) is a green, cone-shaped fruit with a leathery skin and a creamy, sweet flesh. Cherimoya is also called custard apple because of its creamy texture.

 One of the most sought after fruits in India and Pakistan is custard apple, which is only available in short season (August to October). 

The outside of the custard apple is green and hard but the inside is full of sweetness and the sweetness appears when you cut it out. It is well known for its sweetness and is eaten with great relish.

However, cherries contain toxic substances, which in large quantities can damage your nervous system.
